And I think you're missing a point. It's Digimon who chooses a General. Not the other way around.

I got yours. I know that digimon chooses a general. Beside asking digimon to jump off something is weird anyway. And before this goes off topic here's another one: The Chosen Children were camping. In middle of night Taichi woke up everybody and said:
"Look all those beautiful stars. Do you know what it means?"
"It's going to be bautiful day tomorrow" said Jyou.
"Maybe but our tent is stolen"

How about my previous one and this one:
TK and Hikari, with their respective Digimon, arrived at the beach. Now, they had a bet. Who does something funnier, gets an icecream from the other. TK did a quite impressive imitation of tripping. Hikari didn't laugh.
When it was Hikari's turn, she stood up, walked to Takeru and looked at him. Then, she slowly raised her finger to his eye level. He burst out laughing.
"Well, looks like you win, Hikari-chan"
"Never underestimate female logic" Hikari shrugged "Now go get me an icecream."
Do you get my last two?

CCs *step forward and sign their names onto the paper Hikari is holding*
Hikari: Thank you all. To asylum with Machinedramon! *leans in* Unless you let your son marry me...
Machinedramon: No, not Takeru!
Hikari: *shrugs* Your wish *the DigiDestined drag Machinedramon to asylum as Hikari looks at cute son of Machinedramon* Takeru will marry me anyway... *smiles*
(I know that Takeru isn't really Machinedramon's son, but Machinedramon deserves to be locked in the asylum, and I like Takeru & Hikari ship, so....)
