Yuu's kind of a stereotypical character that Digimon always has, minus season One and Tamers, that originally evil but turns good type I include Savers in there because the Royal Knights turned good in the end(yes that counts)

oh yes Monkey Ninja Boy... anyways I personally believe that the concept got stale after Kouchi Keenan was a very boring character whose premise was interesting but never went anywhere Yuu on the other hand is just too young for me to take him seriously like I did the Digimon Emporer Yuu makes me feel like a frustrated parent who just wants to send the bad boy to his room Ken as the Emporer made me want to be TK and Davis and PUNCH HIS FACE IN! Kouchi as Duskmon was a little scary tbh
