Digimon : Pandora Chronicles
Plot
Pandora. A city filled with wild abandon and wonder as the remaining group of humans cling to life. The desperate battle between the races has accelerated too fast for the average human. It is a seaside port on the edge of what used to be the UK, it is filled with wildlife and the entire city is made from the roots of a great tree, rumoured to be not of this world. It is one of few cities left as army bases cover most of the earth. You are one of the young people caught in this crossfire and you must decide, which way to turn.
Rules - Please obide by
1. You cannot kill someone elses character/digimon without permision.
2. You may have as many characters as you can keep active.
3. Post in Third Person.
4. Minimal swearing unless required.
5. Please keep all posting fairly reasonable.
6. No god modding.
7. No power playing, as in, oh well my character got an invincible bomb a while back and he uses it to be invincible.
8. No double posting unless thread has been inactive for 24 hours.
9. We will probably cap out at 6-12 characters.
Setting
The RP will be set in the new earth, covered in war and poverty. It is rare for those who don't belong to a city to be inexperienced in battle. Most characters are from different places all over the world, for example, it will not be uncommon to see several different communities within one city, all co-existing. The digimon world will look entirely different and there will be entirely new and original digimon, some of which could partner up with you(if you so wish(but you must create your digimon partner)) I will describe a scene that we are all at if its just you its up to you to describe it. The entire world is kinda steampunk in terms of technology, yes there will be lots of technology advancements and relapses, all I can say is try and make it realistic of a war-torn poverty-stricken world about 100-200 years in the future.
Races
There will be races in this rp. Yes I know, it's so not digimon but hey, let's have fun. So here are the races:
Human - I hope and pray I don't need to describe this.
Hybrids - These are human/beast hybrids and are presumed to be alien to earth. They obviously possess animal traits but please keep in mind they must also possess negative traits, not just positive from their animal.
Harmans - These are basically humans that are spiritual to a degree that is not human, they are in-touch with the world and as such they have advantages and disadvantages(example: able to hear pursuers in a forest by speaking to wildlife, but if a tree is slashed the Harman will also feel the pain(this is just a random example))
They are the three H's, choose wisely, it will affect your gameplay, and if you aren't playing the race as specified or are power-playing it, you will be asked to change race.(Probably to human because I hope and pray you can play a human character right)
Death
Death can be as bloody and emotional as you like. In the digital world we will use the basic idea of digitama town until further notice.
Crystals
Crystals are our equivalent to crests, and sort of digivices too. Basically they are what helps your digimon digivolve, and in the case of a more feral digimon partner it can help to control them. It constantly feeds of the digi-destined's energy and using it to digivolve harms the human, because the energy spike and the increased draining can really daunt on most people. There may be digivices too but we will not possess them, nor the crystals till later.
Weapons
Go crazy, really just make sure that the most it could ever do is wound (unless used for extended periods.) 'cos otherwise it stops being about the digimon. Try and be creative if you want a weapon.
Basic Settings and Ideas:
1. Okay so basically the different races don't tend to get on and it tends to be humans who see themselves as greater than the other races, although all of the races look down on the others.
2. Digimon will be widespread because there are constant rips in the digital world through which digimon escape from, occassionaly a digmon may find it's partner but usually it's partner has already been killed or it will never find it.
3. There will be regular people fighting, as well as those with digimon and feral digimon used for warfare, it may be graphic and may make you feel sick, I hope :3
4. Your character will be young but in this world that doesn't neccessarily mean useless, lots of young children are war-torn.
5. You may create younger or older brothers and sisters as side or main characters prior to or during the rp.

Age: Above 6 and below 17 for obvious reasons (any age for a side character)
Gender: Simple, I'm sure you will work it out without help
Race: Pick a race
Appearance: Try to cover plenty, you can use a picture if you want to.
Personality: Their basic personality such as hot head, try to be slightly more elaborate however.
History: Give a basic outline that you can build on if you choose to
Crystal Power colour: A single colour that emanates from your crystal during use. For now we will assume all crystals are a light blue colour.

Nickname(optional):
Stage:
Appearance: if you have created a unique one then post but if you want say unimon to have something like gatomons gloves then post that. If no changes then just put the name of the digimon
Personality: can be opposite or similar or whatever to your character.
Evolution Line:
Egg(markings and such) -> Baby -> In training -> Rookie -> Champion -> Ultimate we'll stop there and decide mega later I don't want to offer dna 'cos its screwy but if you want a dna in your line but treat it as a regular feel free.
You may make little explanations for each stage if its unique or different to the usual one.
Okay so post a bio and when everyone who wanted to join has made one we will start.
