Chapter 2: Food, Fighting, and Freaky Voices
Man, I've never had seafood like this before. Things really ARE better on the island. What kind of fish is this anyways? We were at Kairi's place. Her dad's the mayor or something like that. To be honest, my mind went blank the moment I smelled the food. Apparently, Kairi was a REALLY good cook. I was scarfing down everything I could get my hands on. Apparently, five days without food makes you hungry enough to eat a shark. Sora was matching me bite for bite. Kairi just smiled and ate one or two fish. Riku quietly ate his portion of dinner. Kairi giggled.
"Enjoying yourself?" Sora looked up from his meal with a gleaming grin.
"You bet!" Kairi rolled her eyes and shook her head.
"Not you, silly, Sam." I finished the last bite and gave a loud, contented sigh.
"That was amazing!" We all started laughing.
"Well, thank you.", she replied. Riku finished his meal and scratched the back of his head.
"So, Sam, where ya from?, he asked. I guess he's just trying to be friendly. I honestly can't tell. Truth be told, I had no idea. I just shrugged my shoulders.
"No idea, last thing I remember was waking up at that shack..." Sora gave a suprised look. Then, he gave Riku a concerned look. They both nodded.
"The King may be able to help, Sam.", said Riku. I nodded in thanks.
"I hope so. I'm not even totally sure that Sam is my real name." I played with my cup of tea. Well, empty cup of tea. Their was a bit of silence until Sora tried to alleviate said silence.
"So, how about we go out to the beach?", he suggested.
"Wait for the King on the Paopu tree?", asked Riku. Sora nodded. Kairi smiled.
"Sure, I'm game.", she said. I shrugged.
"I'm just gonna follow you guys around to be honest." They all got a laugh out of that. Apparently, that was funny to them.
"Alright, let's go!" Sora and Riku went sprinting out the door on some race. Kairi giggled and began cleaning up. I picked up my stuff too.
"Here, I'll help ya." , I said.
"Thanks.", she replied. She placed her batch of dishes into the sink. I did the same.
"I'll wash 'em later. C'mon, let's go follow them.", she said. I nodded and we ran out of the door. We got to the Paopu tree a few minutes after Sora and Riky had finished their race. Sora won and was giving Riku a LOT of crap about it.
"Gettin' slow in your old age, Riku?", he teased. He chuckled.
"Nah, just thought you might as well win for once. I sat under the tree trunk while Sora and Riku leaned against it and Kairi sat on it.
"So, how long should it take him?", I asked.
"Not long, I called him an hour ago. His new Gummi Ship designs are supposed to be really fast too.", replied Riku. Sora shrugged.
"Wouldn't be the first time we've spent all day sitting here.", he said. Kairi chuckled.
"Only because you two are too lazy to work on anything." , she replied.
"Oh thanks, now I'm getting lumped in with Sora? C'mon, Kairi, that's a bit much.", retorted Riku.
"Hey, I'm not that lazy!", exclaimed Sora. I just sat there. I wonder why I'm here anyways. The purpose of all this wasn't clearly explained by the weird voice.
Nor should it have been, young one.
Great, he's in my head again. This time for real.
I will be your guide on this journey.
What? Think I'm too stupid to do the right thing?
Not exactly, but I am merely here to help.
Got a name since we'll be sharing subconcious?
Yes.
And it is...?
Not important right now. For now, you may call me Nobody.
Um... alright. I was tapped on the shoulder.
"Hey, get your head out of the clouds. The King's here.", reported Riku.
"Y-yeah." I stood up and looked to the beach. A weird-looking space ship was landing there. Sci-Fi movies had nothing on this thing. It looked like really squichy LEGOs mashed together.
It is called a Gummi Ship. The King discovered the materials that make up the Gummi Ship.
Lemme guess: Gummi Bears?
No, Gummi Blocks.
Your sense of humor sucks.
Merely because I've died twice. Most people would feel the same way.
Touche. A hatch opened under the ship and out stepped a mouse, an old man, a duck, and a dog. Well, I think it's a dog.
It is.
Thanks. I looked at the old man. He looked like a wizard. THe duck looked like a wizard too, and the dog looked like a... knight? Weird. The mouse wore a cloak. Which one is the King?
The mouse, child.
Again, thanks, maybe when you're done with me, you can take up a job as a talking encyclopedia.
But the pleasure of your company would be lost, and that would break my nonexistant heart.
Heh, you DO have a sense of humor.
I was human once.
Right... The King looked at me.
"Hiya, you're the one who washed up on the beach right? I'm Mickey Mouse. Nice ta meetcha.", he greeted.
"Oh, uh, hi, I'm Sam. Nice to meet you too, Your Majesty." Sora, Riku, and Kairi raised their collective eyebrows. Right, I forgot where my info came from for a moment.
"Say, you wouldn't happen to be able ta do me a favor would ya, pal?", asked the King.
"Uh, sure, what's up?" The King drew his blades. Well, I guess you could call them Keyblades.
Brilliant deduction! They are called Keyblades.
Why do I feel as though you're patronizing me? Anyways, Sora tossed me a wooden sword. I guess I was supposed to fight the King. Great, thanks for the weapon, Sora. Now, I can make myself look like an idiot while losing to a little mouse. Today is not my day. The King chuckled and jumped in the air. He began to bring his Keyblades down on top of me.
Dodge to the left.
Um... okay, the dodge saved my neck for a few more seconds.
Jump.
The subsequent jump saved me from a sweep. Thanks, Nobody.
Swing at his head. I did so, and the King parried the blow and disarmed me. I was waiting for his next swing when a Keyblade appeared in my hand!(A/N: It's the Two Become One Keyblade. Look it up) Holy jeez! Okay, Nobody, now the odds are even.
What do you mean?
I just remembered a little something about myself. I am really good with swords.
I shudder to think of the life you led previous of this.
Nah, it was just a hobby. I began attacking the King with a flurry of strikes. He was struggling to block them all.
"Woah!", exclaimed Sora. The King jumped over me and attempted another swing. I blocked and ran my shoulder into his blades. Then, I brought my blade upward in a swing and disarmed him. I put my blade at his neck.
"We done?", I asked. The King chuckled.
"Yeah, I guess so." His Keyblades(A/N: Star Seeker and Kingdom Key D look em up sorry I didn't do this earlier) disappeared, as did mine. Riku smiled.
"Wasn't expecting you to throw the fight, Mickey.", he said. The King scratched his head sheepishly.
Oh, the King does that from time to time. He can still be very mischievous.
Good to know.
"Well, now that we figured that out, it's time for some good news and bad news.", said the King. The old man stepped forward.
"Hello, young one, I am Yen Sid. Now then, the bad news is that Master Xehanhort has returned. None of you will remember this man, but he was the very reason for all of your troubles, from the Nobodies to Ansem, Seeker of Darkness."Sora punched a nearby rock.
"Aw man, I was hoping that we were done with that.", he said.
"The good news, however, is that several people you all will remember have returned. Axel, Roxas, and an unknown black-haired girl have been sighted in Twilight Town." Sora's eyes lit up.
"Roxas and Axel are back?! Wait, how did that happen?"
"Roxas was a special Nobody. Somehow, he found a heart of his own more than likely.", replied Riku.
"Also, Keyblade Master Aqua and her friends Ventus and Terra have been sighted at the Keyblade Graveyard.", said Yen Sid. This was getting even weirder.
Soon, you will understand.
Thanks. Mickey stepped forward again.
"Alright, fellas, we gotta gather these guys and some other allies. Xehanhort's tough. We gotta make sure he stays gone this time. We'll split up into groups. Sora, Donald, and Goofy, you guys go round up any friends of yours that'll come with ya. Me, Yen Sid and Pete'll go round up Aqua, Terra, and Ventus." Sora raised an eyebrow.
"PETE?", he asked.
"Yeah, Sora, he's come back reformed. At least, he's been given a second chance.", replied the duck.
"He's been so helpful, ahyuk.", said the dog.
"Right, well, Sam, Riku, and Kairi'll go find Roxas and Axel. Alright?" Everyone, including me nodded. The King pressed a button, and that Gummi Ship split into three! Wow!
"Riku can drive ya to Twilight Town.", said the King. We nodded and walked into the Gummi Ship.

Wow that's quite an impressive chapter. You've portryed Sora Kairi and Riku flawlessly. I really wanna know who the voice in the head is also XP It's cool to see that you're making a KH 3 in a sense, considering that the fic takes place after KH2. Can't wait to see where you go with it next.

Chapter 3: Space, Spiky Hair, and Secrets Revealed
Dude, I love this Gummi Ship crap. It feels like we're not even moving! I was perfectly content just sitting there and looking out the window. Kairi and Riku were talking about something or other. To be honest, I was too amped up about being in space. Strangely, it felt familiar, well in a sense. Ah, that is quite odd...
What?
Your memories are returning faster than expected. Most perplexing.
Why's that?
Well, there was supposed to be a trigger mechanism that would unlock the memories. It seems your love of the various worlds has partially eliminated that need.
So, you know who I am?
Me? Oh, no no no, the ones who charged me with this job do though.
Who charged you with this?
For now, their identities must remain secret.
Awesome. Riku tapped me on the head. "Hey, get you're head out of the clouds. We're about to land." I nodded. The landing was as soft as the flight. We stepped out of the ship one after the other. Four people approached us. Two looked like Kairi, one had fiery red hair, and the last one... looked familiar to say the least. "Ventus?", I asked looking at the kid.
Oh dear, that is Roxas, not Ventus.
Oh. The kid looked at me quizzically. "I'm sorry, but I don't know who you're talking about.", he replied. I shook my head. "S-sorry, having a weird day." He nodded.
"I've had those too." The black-haired girl looked at Kairi then at me.
"Hey, Roxas, doesn't this guy look familiar?", she asked. Roxas took a long look at me.
"A... little bit.", he replied. The red-haired guy ruffled the two's hair.
"Aw, isn't that cute? Some of Sora's memories are still creepin' into ya since you two can't remember anything period.", he teased.
"Aw, be quiet, Axel.", shot back Roxas. The three laughed. The blonde-haired girl looked at me.
"Hello, I'm Namine." I turned my head and realized she was talking to me.
"Oh, uh, Sam, hi.", I sputtered.
Are you sure that's your true name?
Why wouldn't it be?
Well, to be honest, these people said they were reviving a powerful warrior from his sleep. You don't seem like the type.
I'd argue if you weren't right. Kairi tapped me on the shoulder.
"Hey, Sora doesn't remember you at all. What do they mean you're from his memories?", she asked. I shrugged.
"From what I've heard, Sora's heart and mind's intertwined with more than just a few people.", I replied. She nodded.
"Yeah, Sora's heart does that.", she replied with a smile. Riku informed the red-haired guy of the situation.
"You gonna come with?" The guy looked at his friends. They nodded.
"Well, looks like we're on Team Sora this time around, got it memorized?", he replied. Great, he has a catchphrase.
Well, it seems the Organization finally found their hearts. Well, a few did. Roxas whispered something in Axel's ear.
"Oh, yeah, we're bringing some more friends.", he said.
"Who?", asked Kairi. Axel gave a whistle. Five guys came walking from the left. They were all wearing black coats, similar to Axel, Roxas, and the black-haired girl's.
"Lemme introduce you to the Organization XII version 2.0.", he said with a few grand gestures. Riku raised an eyebrow.
"You got your hearts back right? What's your goal now?" The blue-haired one with a scar walked up.
"We just want to protect those we... love.", he said. The blonde one walked up next.
"I simply wish to continue the game..." Then, came the pirate-looking one.
"Game? As if, we just gotta survive." The one with the sitar walked up.
"I just wanna relax. This fighting stuff isn't my thing, y'know?" Finally, the silver-haired one came up.
"I just wish to see what more there is to learn."
Ah, it appears the Organization is as strong as ever...
That a good thing?
Depends on your definition
Awesome... The Organization had filed into the Gummi Ship. Riku tapped me on the shoulder.
"C'mon." I nodded and boarded the ship. Weird, it was bigger on the inside than the outside. I don't know how that happened.
Magic.
Funny.
I'm serious. Magic.
Awesome. The pirate guy nudged Axel.
"Where to now, Flameslilocks?", he asked.
"Like I know.", Axel replied. Riku turned around in his chair.
"We're going to the Radiant Garden.", he said. The...what?
Ah, my home.
You're home?
Yes.
Okay... I tapped Riku on the shoulder.
"Hey, where's Ventus and the others?", I asked.
"They'll be there when we get there.", he replied. Good, I was looking forward to some answers. This whole time Nobody, Mickey, Sora, and everyone else weren't gonna give me answers or couldn't. I'm tired of it. I. Want. Answers.
The warriors shall show you the answers.
Good, I'm tired of waiting. Within a few minutes, we landed on Radiant Garden. We all stepped out. Then, three people walked out of some portals. All three gave me the most shocked look ever.
"MASTER?!", exclaimed the tallest. I gave him a quizzical look then looked at myself. Wait, what the? When did I get armor and a kimono.
I see... so you are Eraqus. Ventus(well I assume he is Ventus) walked up to me.
"Master Eraqus, you're alive?" I silently nodded. I didn't know how else to react. The girl wasn't so sure. She gave me a very piercing look. She summoned a Keyblade and handed it to me. All of a sudden, my memories came flooding back to me, I was clad in armor, and I remembered. Everything. The three bowed before me.
"Welcome home, Master.", said Aqua. I gave a smile.

That was a bit of a revelation to say the least. The speech was hard to follow at times and there was a lot of it and not much description but the plot was good and quite shocking actually.
