Met an Akari straight from Osaka while at Work!

SO! It was about two months ago while I was working at the fast food place, Chick-Fil-A, in a mall, when a lady with her baby daughter, about a year old, comes up to order. I figured out immediately she was Japanese, but didn't say anything about it, that is until she gave me her name for the order.

Obviously by the title, you can tell her name was Akari. Needless to say my brain started going a mile a minute! I later met her husband, Yuki, about 10 minutes later when I went to check on them before we closed. I brought up the discussion I'd had with Akari at the counter, how her name was also on Digimon Xros Wars and how exciting that was for me to meet someone with that name. She didn't know much about Digimon, but he knew immediately when I said I was into anime and stuff and I proceeded to show them all that I'd gathered from Digimon. Showed them all the seasons I'd gotten and put on my iPod, Yuki asked me if I was into Pokemon and I of course said I watched it from time to time and that was that. I got their permission to find them on Facebook and we are now pretty good friends whenever they come by!

I might be able to gain one of them as a Japanese teacher hopefully! It would be awesome!

They apparently just moved to Northern Kentucky from Tokyo/Odaiba I think, just filling my fangasm of Digimon of course!

Change the title to From Osaka? And oh really wow, right if you do get them to teach you Japanese remember people form the Kansai area speak slightly diffrent to people from the Tokyo area and we have a slight accent I should know!
