So three teenagers, two boys and a girl, with Apollomon in tow, crossed over to the black castle.
A small boy appeared at the doorway.
"Hello, everyone. I have found worthy foes at last."
"Hello, Yuu. You will be fighting your sister first. If you defeat her and you still want to fight me, you can."
"Good. Let's go, sis."
Two boys watched as Yuu and Nene, his sister, took their battle position.
One of the boys shook his head
"That's a very risky move, Taiki. What if she can't get through to him?"
The other boy grinned
"Trust me, Kiriha. If anyone could reach him, it's his sister."
"If you say so..."
"Of course I do. Now let's sit and enjoy the sibling reunion. She deserves it."
"Always generous, are we?"
"That's the way of Xros Heart."
Taiki and Kiriha sat on the ground. They had a clear view of Yuu and Nene's battle.
"You have to win in order for us to reach him!" Taiki encouraged
Nene thought for a while, then reloaded Sparrowmon.
Sparrowmon gripped Yuu tightly.
"Reload DarkKnightmon and I'll tell Sparrowmon to release you."
Yuu realized he had no choice, unless he wanted to stay trapped forever.
"Reload, DarkKnightmon."
"Hear me out, DarkKnightmon. You seek to become strongest. Do you know how?"
"No."
"By relinquishing your brother. There's good heart inside of you. It's true. Bagramon's holding you back from realizing that the true strength lies in love."
DarkKnightmon pondered this for a while, then nodded.
"You're right. I was blind."
Nene extended her hand slowly.
"You both must come."
DarkKnightmon scooped Yuu up, walked over to Nene and bowed to her.
"You're my General now."
Taiki and Kiriha grinned in satisfaction.
