Friendship was valued in Xros Heart United Army. Greatly valued. I couldn't drive her to tears by killing her sibling.
But I couldn't drive her to tears by letting him remain in darkness forever either.
There must be a way to make Yuu see the truth and bring him to her in one piece.
He thought that data doesn't die. I had to prove to him that Digimon could die.
Idea dawned upon me.
"MetalGreymon!" I called "Bring me that little mouse that Tsuwamon uses as his partner!"
Yuu grew pale.
"You can't..."
"It's for your own good, Yuu. You must realize that this isn't a game and that data can die. I want Tsuwamon to be your partner when you join us, so I can't kill him. So his partner is obvious choice."
MetalGreymon joined us, Tsuwamon's little partner on his arm.
"Now, you have the honors, since you caught him." I said
MetalGreymon nodded and plunged his claw into Tsuwamon's partner, who evaporated instantly.
Yuu wobbled dangerously, then collapsed
"He really doesn't like it when living beings die." I said grimly, picking Yuu up with care "And neither do I, but sometimes, these things must be done."
I opened his eye. It was bright purple. It greatly resembled his sister's eye.
"It's all for your happiness, Yuu, as you will soon see. No one is really happy without one's family. Everything else is false happiness."
I thought about my mother and father. A string of melancholy overcame me.
I quickly snapped out of it. Yuu wasn't separated from his sister. She was here. Here for him. He was just blind to that fact.
And it made his sister sad. And I couldn't bear to see my friend sad.
"MetalGreymon, take us to White Castle." I ordered. I was desperate to get there with Yuu."
It will be a fine compensation for Nene to get her brother back after all she went trough to get him back.
