Kiriha, Nene and Taiki were all shocked at Gravimon's words.
"How could I kill my friend, even if it means destroying Gravimon?" wondered Kiriha.
"I refuse to
do it, even if it means my passage to Yuu. " mused Nene.
Kiriha and Nene turned towards their friend.
Taiki let out a low moan.
Kiriha and Nene approached their friend. They both placed their hands on his shoulders.
"I won't do it." said Kiriha
"I won't do it either."
Gravimon smirked, turning to Nene.
"Don't you want to find your brother?"
Nene was taken aback. She did want Yuu.
"Not so much to kill my own friend because of some core." she said, confidently.
"Nor do I want to kill my friend because of some passage." added Kiriha. "Reload, MailBirdramon."
MailBirdramon reloaded, and heeding Kiriha's order, aimed his attack at Nene and Taiki, who were standing together.
Gravimon, clearly afraid, ordered his core to leave its host.
Nene grabbed it.
"Smash it, Nene."
"No, Taiki should do it. After all, it had caused him pain." Nene countered, giving the core to Taiki, who squeezed it tight. It broke.
And with it, Gravimon disappeared.
"You've avenged Deckerdramon." said Dracomon."
Nene leaned against Taiki, who threw his healthy arm around her shoulder.
"And you, Taiki, you have avenged your pain." Nene said.
