Yuu's destiny was not that of the killer. Yuu's destiny wasn't to be a villain. Yuu's destiny is bright, and it would be outright crime to keep him trapped in darkness, when he could live in the light.

Yes, he could live. Episode 51 spoilers reveal that DarkKnightmon plans to kill him. That's even worse crime. That is the atrocity. Pure atrocity.

Furthemore, it would be cruel to let him die just when he's about to find his partner. You may ask which partner?

Well, it all began during episode 37, then continued within episodes 46 and 47, to reach climax in episodes 48 and 49.
What was the last scene you saw in episode 47? Tsuwamon holding Yuu, who was confessing his mistake.

Now you know who that partner is. Suprised? I think not.

It will be a start of beautiful partnership...
