Mimi checked her purse, it was full of the essentials, lipstick, Cuddle whistle, pepper spray, a make-up bag, a compass, her phone, her mp3 player and her digivice. She slung it over her shoulder, it had a long chain and a thin, long sparkly pink bag on the end. She walked over to her mirror, it had pictures of her friends around the edge and was covered in make-up marks, much like her white carpet. She sighed and began to re-do her eye-liner, at least she knew she wouldn't be the only one preparing like this.

Sora rolled out of bed, landing on her lucky hat, oh the times she had with that hat... She quickly stopped her train of thought and grabbed her jeans which were next to her in a heap of clothes on her food stained floor. She pulled them on and wriggled to try and get them up to an acceptable height, after she did she zipped them up and rolled onto her face, she did five press-ups and then got to her feet. She picked up a top, sniffed it and gagged, throwing it back onto the floor she grabbed another and sniffed, it smelt of sweets, Sora shrugged and pulled it on. She reached onto her dresser, pushing the week old fries and crisps into the bin as she did. She grabbed a brush and ran it through her hair a few times before sighing, this was the last time she let Mimi choose when to get up. One in the afternoon was just too early. She looked in the mirror and gasped as she saw a spot, she squeezed it and squealed as it squirted outwards. She reached back onto the dresser for a wipe but found a half-drunk lemonade, she grinned and began to drink as her phone flashed.

Yolei grabbed her bag and ran out of the door, her hair was just barely dry, her make-up was hastily applied and her clothes were just barely acceptable to be worn in public. She was wearing a pink top with a cat on with it's paw seemingly clawing forwards in a friendly manner, a denim jacket and some cargo pants. She quickly pulled on her hairband and read Mimi's text.
Yolei said : So when are we meeting up again?
Mimi said : In twenty minutes
Yolei said : Are you there yet?
Mimi said : On my way.
Yolei sighed and text Sora, she'd be early enough to know where Yolei was supposed to go "Sora, where are we meeting, text back soon" Yolei muttered the text as she typed. "Toast honey?" Yolei's mum asked, Yolei ran up to her mum, took a bite of the toast, kissed her mum on the cheek and ran off. "I'd appreciate it if you kissed me before the toast next time!" Yolei's mum shouted, Yolei's brother sighed "Honestly mum, you should know by now, compared to toast you are weak sauce" he said as he turned a page in the newspaper. Yolei's mum sighed as the door slammed, she walked back in the kitchen to get started on dinner.

Kari rushed around the house "I HAVE NO CLOTHES!" She squealed angrily as she ran into her brother's room "TAI! where is my tights that you stole for a prank!?" Kari screamed, Tai groaned and rolled over, pulling the pillow over his head. Kari sighed and stormed back out. "Honey, what about this, or this, or this?" her mum said as she looked through the wardrobe quickly, holding up all of the clothing that had spilled out when she opened it. "MUM I HAVE NO CLOTHES!" Kari shouted angrily as she dropped to the floor and started crying. "It's all too much, I should just kill myself now, no one would care, 'cos you don't even buy me clothes!" Kari shouted angrily. Her dad walked in, "there's clothes on your bed" he said as he sipped his coffee. "Thanks dad!" Kari exclaimed as she ran over to her bed and grabbed the clothes "Get out, now!" she shouted to her mum. Her mum sighed and left quickly.
"Is it easy being the parent that does very little for more reward than I get for doing so much more?" Kari's mum asked. "I guess" he replied as he kissed her on the cheek, grabbed a newspaper and walked into the bathroom. "I'll go make food then" Kari's mum said with a sigh "No!" a voice screamed, there was thudding and banging and Kari's door swung open, with her in a tangled mess of clothes "I'm dieting, do you never listen gawd!" Kari shouted "When did you tell me this?" Kari's mum asked. "Just now, wern't you listening, gawd you are useless!" Kari said angrily as she headbutted the door closed.
It took Kari a further ten minutes to get ready but she was eventually prepared, she grabbed her Digivice and threw it into a backpack that was about six inches by four inches with straps that were long enough to allow it to dangle down her back. She grabbed her phone and read it, Yolei again. She sighed and threw it into her bag and ran downstairs "I'm going out" Kari said as she opened the door.
"Where?" her mum asked
"Out" was the sharp reply
"I gathered that" her mum said angrily as she began to walk towards the front door.
"Bye honey" her dad shouted, Kari grinned and ran out the door, the bus had better be waiting for her.
