A lone pipe. At first glance it was uninteresting.
A young boy was sitting inside the pipe, his head buried into his arms.
After a while, he looked up.
He saw a small creature in front of him.
The creature was all white, except little red horn on his head and the pair of yellow glows.
"Who are you?" the boy asked, a lone tear falling down his cheeks.
"Please don't cry." pleaded the creature "I'm Damemon. The world is beautiful, isn't it."
"I'm Yuu Amano." the boy said "And you're wrong. This world is full of pain."
Damemon was in loss for words. His new friend looked so hollow.
Damemon was generally a happy creature, and he didn't like sadness.
Damemon drew closer to Yuu.
"Say, is that why you're here?"
"Yes, this is my sanctuary. My escape from pain." Yuu confessed
Damemon frowned. He tried to imagine what horrors Yuu had lived through.
He couldn't. It was beyond his ability.
He hugged Yuu around the waist.
The two remained in that position for a long time.
Yuu kept crying, while Damemon tried to bear into Yuu's soul, in attempt to see what is wrong with him.
