The day of victory

[Nene]

It was dark. Dark and quiet. Malicious intentions clashed with glorious ones. It was the final battle of Xros Heart United Army and DarkKnightmon.

"Olegmon. Apollomon. You traitors." DarkKnightmon declared menacingly.

The two former Death Generals didn't even flinch, as they stood their ground besides Taiki. DarkKnightmon and Bagramon began laughing. Taiki looked at them in horror.

"Look." Taiki whispered "I'm not here to fight. I'm here for that crystal you're holding." he told DarkKnightmon calmly.

There was a reason Taiki wanted the crystal so badly. Trapped inside the crystal was Yuu. Taiki intended to break the crystal and set Yuu free.

"Like I'd give it to you?" retorted DarkKnightmon

Taiki became mad with worry. He desperately wanted to save Yuu, but he couldn't because DarkKnightmon refused to hand him the crystal.

Then, Olegmon and Apollomon stepped forward, looking at Taiki.

Taiki nodded. He used a white stone, created from his own positive energy, and used it to capture and disintegrate the crystal that was used to trap Yuu.

Olegmon picked both Taiki and Yuu up and walked eastward. DarkKnightmon followed them, only to come across the temple. He entered it and found himself in a strange chamber. The chamber had only one staircase. On top of that staircase was Yuu Amano.

"Partner." Yuu addressed DarkKnightmon, smiling "Partner, let's play another game. Come and reclaim me. " Yuu beckoned, invitingly


DarkKnightmon slowly walked towards Yuu. The latter was still smiling. However, when DarkKnightmon was near him, Yuu's expression turned into expression of anger and betrayal.

"You killed my partner..." Yuu accused, his finger shaking as it pointed at DarkKnightmon. "And ChuuChuumon yawned while Damemon died. ChuuChuumon YAWNED at my misery. Now, it's my turn." Yuu whispered, in murderous tone.

Second chapter

As DarkKnightmon stood there, he heard footsteps behind him. He turned around, only to see Kiriha, Nene and Apollomon enter the temple. He looked at them, then back at the staircase. Taiki and Olegmon had joined Yuu on top.

"I see. It was like this ever since you met me in Demon's palace."

"That's right. Yuu had doubts in his heart ever since the Fairy Dust's field. Those doubts surfaced upon Damemon's death. Those doubts were enough to make him switch sides and join us. He wants to make amends." Taiki explained.

"Not only that, I want to avenge Damemon's death." Yuu added

"This temple is a base of Xros Heart United Army while we are here. Yuu found this for us. He saw it when you brought him here and was able to track it down for us." Nene explained further.

"You kept laughing while we were losing against GrandGeneralmon. But the fact is, who laughs last, laughs the sweetest."

As soon as Taiki said that, he started laughing. Kiriha, Nene, Yuu, Olegmon and Apollomon joined in, laughing happily.

DarkKnightmon watched them, suddenly feeling scared.

"Ever since we met you in Heaven's Zone, you were spreading evil. You claim to be a noble, but you didn't do noble things. Controlling Yuu since he was a young child. Controlling Death Generals and taking their souls away. Killing off Damemon. The things you did weren't noble at all." Taiki chastised, angrily.

"Not to mention making me kill my own sister." added Yuu, looking past DarkKnightmon, straight at Nene. The look was apologetic.
She returned the gaze, her eyes showing Yuu how much she cared for him.

Then, Taiki, Nene, Kiriha and Yuu raised their Xros Loaders as one. Red, Blue, Lavender and Yellow. Those were colors of Xros Heart United Army.

OmegaShoutmon, Ballistamon, Dorulumon, Sparrowmon, Starmons, ZeekGreymon and Tsuwamon were DigiXrossed into Shoutmon X8 by four Generals of Xros Heart United Army.

Since Taiki had revived Damemon using the white stone, this was possible.

Because DarkKnightmon had lost his last human General to Xros Heart United Army, he wasn't able to Xros Open, go to Big Axe Mode or DigiXros with other Digimon.

As such, Shoutmon X8 owned him. Literally.

As soon as DarkKnightmon was defeated, Yuu threw himself in his sister's arms. Nene lifted him up and spun him around in air

"I'm flying, onee! I'm flying!"

Taiki smiled at the sight.

"You deserve to fly, Yuu." Nene and Taiki said simultaneosly.

All three looked at Kiriha, who just nodded.

Taiki shook his head. Nene and Yuu did the same.

"Kiriha Aonuma. Still as cold as ever." observed Nene.

"She's right, you know." Taiki and Yuu said at the same time.

"Now, on to Baguramon!" Taiki exclaimed. He looked at other three. Nene, Kiriha and Yuu all looked eager.

"Okay, troops, let's go!

[Magnamon]

I think DarKnightmon would've defended himself in some way he probably thinks wat he's doing is noble

[Nene]

He relied on Yuu for defence and offense alike. Since he lost Yuu, his defense and offense crumbled.

I was talking about when Taiki was talking about his nobility

Well, he knows he is not noble...

how do you know that? many people believe their rather evil causes were noble

Why do have to be so nitpicky. You think that this fanfic is overall good, but you refuse to admit it. That's why you latched onto a small detail to degrade it...
