Just a short cute drabble dedicated to Rora, my cute (and maybe short) friend on her birthday <3
Kari reached over the white cake with pink roses made of marshmallow fondant on top and stuck her finger into the side, she dragged it slowly then withdrew it and sucked, pure delisciousness! She heard her mother walking in so she quickly searching around, squishing the side so the hole was covered but looked mis-shapen she panicked and then saw one of her presents. Eureka! She clambered down from the chair she was stood on and rushed over, grabbing the regular green box with a red bow tied perfectly she crawled back over and clambered onto the chair, only just slamming the present in place as her mother entered.
She clapped her hands as her mother lit the candles and called Tai down, he stared at the present quizzically, raising an eyebrow he grinned in realisation, Kari shot him a stony look then spun back to her mother with a joyous grin, her little pink dress with white trim made her mother smile as she indicated to the cake. "Make a wish, honey" her mother said. Kari nodded and turned to the cake. 'I wish that Yuna from final fantasy X was real, I mean she is amazing! Anyways yeah, get to work cake fairy!' Kari thought deeply then closed her eyes and blew. She opened her eyes to still see the cake alight, she turned to Tai who was holding a green present, she quickly realised and spun back to the cake where tiny handprints were in the icing. Her mother looked at her and Kari looked down, as she did her mother stuck her finger into the cake and dragged it along, withdrawing and licking with a cheeky grin, Kari copied with a giggle. "Mweh did it!" Kari squealed, and then she saw it. Tai's hand touched her cake. HER CAKE!
She spun and shot him an evil glare as he swallowed the cake with his eyes closed in bliss. Kari reached her hand into her cake and grabbed a chunk, and threw it. It landed splat in the middle of Tai's face, candle intact and still alight Kari clambered over, pulled on Tai's shirt and blew out the candle. "Thanks" she whispered in his ear.
"Any time" Tai said with a cute big brother, cake mauled smile. Kari grinned and stuck her finger into the cake and then shook her head and just kissed her brothers cheek.
