Heres a few tips for any aspiring writers,

• Write what you know, that doesn't mean it has to be a school story or something but you need to have your story in your head to some degree
  
• Don't be afraid to write without a plan, I never plan and I think it helps, but do whatever works for you
  
• Describe everything, not excessively but scene's are important you want your audience to see whats in your head so you have to tell them what is in there

Also try reading some fanfiction, yes I know fanfiction but I does help by giving aspiring writers an idea how to write good stories.
