typically the main character went through something that made them lose confidence(Davis really didn't) Tai went back after his experience Takato got turned into a freaking Knight I figured Takuya would go back

Masaru and Taichi and Takato's were virtually the same except Takato's got pwned and then turned into Dukemon Takuya's was kind of sad
